
Nakayima Brenda
Nakayima Brenda, an LLM scholar in International Energy Law and Policy at Uganda Christian University, Kampala University, is a multidisciplinary professional with interest in integrating environmental protection with human rights. Her areas of focus include equitable energy access, occupational health and safety across various sectors, and conflict resolution through non-adversarial means.
Brenda holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Uganda Christian University, Mukono Campus. She completed her clerkship at Luwero High Court, Luwero District, Balikyewuunya Town, Uganda, and serves as the Mentorship Programme Associate at the African Energy and Mineral Management Initiative (AEMI).
Brenda is also committed to waste management, believing that everyone has a right to a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
