Amanya Calvin is a specialist in human rights, governance, and sustainable resource management, with a focus on business and human rights, environmental sustainability, and ethical governance in the extractives sector. He holds a Bachelor's in Human Rights from Uganda Christian University and is pursuing a Master's in Governance and International Relations.
With experience at the Uganda Human Rights Commission, Global Rights Alert, and various NGOs, Calvin has worked on policy research, legal analysis, and social justice initiatives, addressing labor rights, child protection, and environmental impacts. He advocates for corporate accountability, ethical resource governance, and climate justice, ensuring natural resource exploitation aligns with human rights and sustainability goals.
Beyond advocacy, Calvin engages in corporate communication, public speaking, and strategic outreach, amplifying critical discussions on governance and sustainability in Africa and beyond.
