Carolina Adrian Tizeba is a practicing attorney and a Commonwealth alumna with over seven years of work experience in the extractive industry. She works with Actions for Democracy and Local Governance (ADLG) as a legal and advocacy officer. ADLG is a Non-Governmental organization which advocates for active citizen participation, democracy, and governance in Tanzania. As a practicing attorney, she has spent much of her career working with underprivileged mining communities and collaborating with stakeholders who work tirelessly to influence Tanzanian, African, and world economic development. She is determined to contribute to advancing knowledge and skills in mineral sector governance, climate change, and sustainability.

She holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from Ruaha Catholic University (Tanzania), a Master (LLM) in International Mineral Law and Policy (Distinction) from the Center for Energy, Petroleum, and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee (United Kingdom),, and a Postgraduate Diploma in legal practice from the Law School of Tanzania.
