Ebony Omodara

Social Media Director

My name is Ebony Omodara, and I am delighted to introduce myself as a social media associate intern at AEMI. As a first-generation Canadian with Nigerian and Surinamese heritage, I have been instilled with a profound understanding of the detrimental effects of exploitation and a strong commitment to championing the equitable empowerment of hardworking individuals. With a background in PR and design, I firmly believe that social media wields an immense potential to generate meaningful impact.

Currently, I am in the final stages of completing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in the Netherlands, which has equipped me with a diverse skill set and refined my ability to connect with diverse audiences. As I progress in my academic journey, I intend to focus on human-computer interaction. While my primary focus lies in social media marketing, I remain open to continuous learning and growth in various facets of the digital landscape.
Above all, my ultimate aspiration is to actively raise awareness and advocate for initiatives that expedite economic development in Africa, while simultaneously nurturing a sustainable future. I am thrilled by the opportunity to collaborate with the dedicated and talented individuals at AEMI and make this a reality.
